PNB’s Banking Services through WhatsApp

Punjab National Bank is now catering its Account holders as well as non-account holders through WhatsApp. There is a plethora of services that are being offered by Punjab National Bank over WhatsApp and shall be continuously adding more.

There are 2 major categories of services which are being offered over WhatsApp. First is Informative Services which can be accessed by existing account holders as well as non-account holders where they will get all banking related information on fingertips. Second is Non-financial services such as balance enquiry, mini statement, stop cheque, cheque book request etc. which can be accessed by account holders only. The pre-requisite of accessing non-financial services is that customers’ mobile number through which customer is using WhatsApp should be registered with Bank.

To access PNB’s Banking services on WhatsApp, customer need to add the number +91-9264092640 to its contacts and Say ‘Hi’, ‘Hello’ etc. on +91-9264092640 from registered mobile number on WhatsApp. Customers can also access these services by clicking on Whatsapp Icon icon available on various platforms of Punjab National Bank.

By starting a conversation on the above number, it would mean that you are agreeing to the Terms & Conditions of PNB’s Banking Services through WhatsApp.

Before starting a conversation, customer must ensure to check green tick Whatsapp Icon along with Punjab National Bank’s name to ensure that this is a genuine Punjab National Bank’s WhatsApp Account.

Yes, you can use PNB’s Banking Services on WhatsApp even if you are not an existing PNB Account holder but only information based services will be available to you and account related services such as balance enquiry, last 5 transactions etc. will not be accessible. You may still open an account with Punjab National Bank and enjoy all the services.

Ans. To access services like balance enquiry, stop cheque etc., you need to send message on WhatsApp using the mobile number which is registered with Bank.
