Public Financial Management System (PFMS) is a web based online transaction system developed by Controller General of Accounts (Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance) and serves as an online management information and decision support system for the Plan Schemes of the Government of India. The purpose of this system is to track and monitor fund disbursement and utilization under Plan Schemes on real-time basis.

The principal objective of PNB PFMS Portal is that it will act as a middleware between departments, Implementing Agencies and PFMS and synching with Banks CBS for the purpose of onboarding of SNA’s (Single Nodal Agencies), CNAs (Central Nodal Agencies) / IA’s (Implementing Agencies) Accounts, Payment Processing and MIS Reconciliation etc. PNB PFMS Portal Supports DBT & Non-DBT payments in bulk for the plan schemes of the Government of India through PNB PFMS Portal.
